High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) technology has recently been applied in the field of non invasive aesthetic treatments with remarkably good results. The basic principal is that ultrasound energy can be applied to the very deep layers of soft tissues under the skin. The energy delivered causes localized fat cell injury. The cells are reduced and thanks to the natural regeneration process, we experience reformation and re shaping of our body. Furthermore, the stimulation of the tissues creates a neocollagenesis, which in turn contributes to the improvement of skin quality and re-shapes body contour.

HIFU treatment can be applied both to the face and to the body.

HIFU face medical therapy can be applied either to the entire face or to some areas, depending on patient’s needs. Specifically, the result could be a full face lift, a forehead and eye area lift or to the neck, double chin and neckline area. The basic results are improved face contour, reduced under eye bags and black circles, youthful and tight face skin.

HIFU body medical therapy can be applied to many areas i.e. inner and outer surface of the knees, anterior and posterior thigh, pelvis (hip fat), front and side abdomen (love handles), legs and back. The main results are local fat reduction and loose skin and cellulite correction. The treatment lasts from 20 to 60 minutes, depending on the application area and it is absolutely harmless and painless. The patient can immediately return to their daily activities without any sign or irritation on their body and of course without any pain or limitation in their movements.
